Mamatha - proactive, adept at thinking out of the box and an eloquent orator. She has completed Bachelors in technology (B.Tech) in textile technology with distinction from Govt. SKSJT Institute. Further completed her Masters in technology (M.Tech) in textile technology from Govt SKSJT Institute with University ranking- III under VTU.
During the course of UG, she presented her project paper on ‘Design and development of Antimicrobial cotton masks using organic finishes’ at Dept of Textile technology, IIT Delhi. Her PG project was about ’Development of Non-woven from fibres of corn husk’. She also assisted in teaching B.Tech (TX/ST) students under TEQIP.
She further went on to pursue PGD in Human Rights Law from National Law School of India University (NLSIU). During the course submitted a dissertation on ‘Reproductive rights of Women’ and had the privilege to participate in the Regional Consulate on ‘Female Labour Force Participation’ organized by NLSIU and National Human Rights Commission.
She has qualified under UGC-NET & KSET. She has also qualified for PhD under Bangalore City University (BCU).

She has 4 plus years of experience in teaching B.Tech, M.Sc, B.Sc(FAD) and Polytechnic students along with providing guidance for seminars and projects. She is an Examiner under the Bengaluru North University. Areas of teaching includes Textile science, Textile testing, Apparel production, Apparel Quality, Human resource management, Visual Merchandising & Store Management, Fashion Business Communication, Fashion marketing and merchandising and Entrepreneurship, International Human Rights and Indian Constitution.
She is currently heading the CAD/IT department at the institution. She is the Nodal officer for ERP in the institute. She is an active part of the Library committee and Equal opportunity cell.
She has been a training coach for over 5 years for various competitive examinations and interviews - Air force common entrance test (AFCAT), SSB interviews, UGC NET; Resume building, Communication skills, etc.
